Le Samurai Grant Awarded to Area III Adult Rider
Congratulations to Area III Adult Rider Krista Wilson, who organized a successful bit fitting clinic with an award from the USEA Le Samurai Grant to support education initiatives for USEA Adult Riders. The clinician, Florence Wetzel of www.trymybits.com, provided each rider with a questionnaire in advance, and during the clinic, Florence measured their horses' mouths for correct fit. Each rider then had opportunities to try different bits on their horses during flatwork and jumping while receiving individual feedback. Many thanks to Florence, to Krista, to Derek Strine of Barnstaple South for use of the wonderful facilities, and to the USEA Foundation for providing the funding for Area III Adult Riders.
